I'm the kind of person who may have to try to get women all by himself and not have any help. I could go from calmly trying to get a date to getting nervous when someone shows up with just handing a date (an example of unsolicited help).
Here are some don'ts when someone is trying to see if they can do it by themselves:
- Don't just hand them a date. What if he just think of the woman as a possible friend instead. I'm probably likely to fall in this category.
- Don't choose who the guy asks out. He may have to ask a woman out by himself, but don't tell him who to ask out. Maybe just give him advice on who you think he is best suited for and he decides for himself if wants to ask her out. Maybe I should try by myself and see if I succeed in getting at least a first date. I'll take the risk of getting rejected.
- Don't sign a contract involving a guy getting women. If a guy's family or friend(s) signs a contract that involves him a chance to get a girlfriend, something bad might happen if he fails.
I'll stop here.
